followme is a community dedicated to "follow me if..." prompts. if you are looking to make suggestions of forts for other people to follow, please check out the followfriday comm, and if you're looking for a place to just share any random post you please, have a look at active_users!

you may use any format you prefer, be brief or thorough, whatever you like, but before you hit "submit," make sure your post adheres to these simple guidelines:

• please do not share nsfw content here. your fort, itself, can be 18+ or nsfw, but you must indicate as such in your post. simply let people know what they can expect from your blog, but do not include explicit descriptions
  
  
  • yes, even if you tag it, use a read-more, or toggle the nsfw switch
    
    
  • as such, if your avatar is nsfw, you may not post here until there is a way to filter out those images
    
    
• for now, you may post or reblog your self-promo once every 48 hours (2 days)
  
  
• please use read-more cuts for lengthy posts (more than like a scroll and a half)
  
  
• tag your posts thoroughly and appropriately-- this is to help people find you, and to honor those who utilize the blacklist function
  
  
• keep images and other media to a sparse minimum - this means no lengthy art posts, reblogs of your video reviews, long swathes of your WIP, etc. etc. this is for people to promote themselves, but as individuals looking to connect with other individuals, not as content creators to connect with an audience, or a business to connect with customers. a note on that here.
  
  
• as such please do not promote links that require a reblog or purchase to help you. this is not a good place for donation pages, redbubble/patreon, or other content promos.
  
  
• and, of course, all pillowfort rules apply

if you notice someone in violation of these rules or who appears to be skirting the line, please flag the post to a community moderator rather than a site moderator. 

those in violation of these rules will have their post deleted and will receive a private message (as long as you allow for them) with an explanation and a warning. if you cannot receive messages, or you haven't received one and your post was deleted, please contact me here with the best way to get in touch with you privately.

multiple violations by the same user will result in being booted from the comm.
