This is the Pillowfort branch of Dreamwidth's snowflake_challenge, which offers prompts for people to respond about fandom, fannish interests, and community throughout January.

While certain prompts can include creating fanworks or rec lists, this community isn't intended for boosting or promoting all fanfic, fanart, rec lists, etc. Please consider the Fanfiction, PillowArtists, or FanRecs communities for those purposes.

As of December 2023, posts aren't screened for review before showing up in this community, but this may change in the future and will be announced via a mod post into the community.

It's not required to reblog entries into this community in order to take part in the Snowflake Challenge, and it's acceptable to leave a link to your entry on the announcement for each prompt. For those who do want to share an entry, please limit your reblogging rate to: 1 post every 24 hours.
