This is a community for fans of lesser-known and obscure anime (animated works originating from Japan). In addition, works from countries like China and Korea are welcome here as well. For all other lesser-known animation, check out our sister community.

-Anime can mean different things to different people. This community does not abide by a strict definition. If you consider it anime, it's welcome here.
-Please do not repost any fan art or fan fiction that is not your own. Link to (or embed) the source instead.
-NSFW is allowed but it must be both tagged and flagged.
-Please tag any other potentially triggering content including violence, blood/gore, and flashing imagery.
-To make things easier to find, please tag the name of the work you're posting about (and its English translation if available)
