All of the Asexual Umbrella Is On-Topic Here
Posts that are appropriate for this comm are posts that relate to any of the asexual umbrella -- asexuality, gray-asexuality, demisexuality; sex-repulsed aces, sex-indifferent aces, sex-favorable aces, and aces who are none of the above; aro spectrum aces, alloromantic aces, and aces who don't have romantic orientations; every subtype of ace identity.
There are no restrictions on what identity members themselves need to hold in order to join and watch the comm.
What is not welcome in this community is the attitude that there's any "one true way" to be ace. Identity policing, asexual elitism, anti-gray sentiment, and anti-aro sentiment are not allowed in this community.
As should go without saying, we also will not tolerate anti-ace blogging which attacks the concept of asexuality or the concept of the asexual community in and of itself.
What's Relevant, What's Not
This is an ace-specific community space. We welcome posts about asexual identities and experiences, ace perspectives on sex & relationships, and relationship & identity issues relevant to aces. Posts that do not clearly relate to any of these areas will be considered off-topic and may be deleted.
This is a community that welcomes challenging and sensitive topics. For example, although anti-ace posts are not allowed, you are welcome to discuss encountering anti-ace sentiment from others. You are equally welcome to criticize the ace community or raise intracommunity issues for discussion. Likewise, you may post here about sexual matters from any type of ace perspective, as long as you are considerate to aces who don't share the same sexual disposition.
This is not a flag depository. Ace graphics are welcome, but please do not use this community to announce flag (re)designs.
Be Considerate -- Use Readmores & Tags
Because this is a sexuality-related community, we do allow (and welcome) discussion posts about sex. If your post goes into detail about sexual experiences of any kind, you are asked to put an indication of that and use a readmore.
Mandatory content warning tags for this community include the following: abuse, sex, romance, nudity, genitials, rape, and sexual violence. Please use these tags where applicable. If someone has neglected to use one of these tags (where warranted) when posting or reblogging to the community, please contact a moderator and include the post URL in your message.
