General Information
A comm for general SFW content. SFW, short for "safe for work", meaning posts will be judged on a "spirit of the law" case-by-case basis of "would this be allowed at work/in public?" As a general comm we want content to be varied and as such we have a 5 (increased March 30) posts/day limit to prevent spam.

Community Rules
- Users will be warned for first occurrence of rule-breaking and may be banned for subsequent occurrences
- Violating posts or comments will be deleted by moderators.
- All content and behavior must follow Pillowfort's TOS.
- Bait-and-switch, misinformation, and inflammatory/divisive posts/language are not allowed.
Absolutely no NSFW or sexually suggestive posts allowed.
- This includes "horny on main" type text posts, jokes, artistic nudity, and fetish-adjacent content.
- The exception to this is in posts advertising forts/communities; if the fort/community allows NSFW content please mention it in a non-explicit manner.
- If an image post is not NSFW but does show less-clothed persons/characters (e.g. shirtless or in undergarments), please tag as "partial nudity" (added April 6, 2022).
Image posts of gore and violence are disallowed.
- Text posts on these topics are allowed on a case-by-case basis (ex. a casual post about an accident you were in or an informative post on a medical procedure you had would be allowed, while a graphic description of a beheading or other violent act would not). Basically, avoid the obscene and extreme.
- For text posts touching on these topics, readmores and appropriate tags are required (see below).
All posts must be tagged.
- Tags should be relevant to the post (i.e. descriptive to its content).
- Common triggers/squicks must be tagged.
- Posts with argument potential (ex. politics, recent events) must be tagged.
- Untagged posts and posts missing tags for triggers/squicks will be removed.
Example list of some triggers/squicks to tag for: food, drugs, needles, blood, gore, horror, body horror, mental health, mental illness, self harm, suicide, death, animal death, violence, rape, sexual assault, bigotry (and all subsets thereof, ex. homophobia, sexism), politics, spiders, snakes, bugs/insects, weapons, guns, gambling, addiction, flashing images, ...
There is a high amount of subjectivity in these rules, and while users can petition against the removal of posts or banning of subject matters I will err on the side of caution in order to keep the comm as accessible to users of all levels of maturity.
Community Guidelines
- Please consider placing long posts under a readmore cut.
