Registration Fee Information

What is this fee for?

Pillowfort currently asks for this registration fee as a way for us to cover our hosting fees, employee compensation, etc. while we are still working on putting our long-term business plan in place. Registrations will be free in the future once we introduce our premium features service, though we do not have an exact time-line in place for when that will be. If you purchase a registration key you will be able to request to have the amount you paid applied as a credit for purchasing premium features in the future.

Key Usage

Note that you can currently only create one account under a particular email address. If you want to create multiple accounts they will have to be made under multiple email addresses. You can also purchase keys to give to others. Your keys will be emailed to you as soon as your payment is processed.

Your Data

Pillowfort uses Authorize.Net to accept credit cards and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the electronic check and credit card processing networks, and Pillowfort does not store any of your financial data in our database.

Authorize.Net adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions.
Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.
Compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Refunds

If you don't end up using your keys or find Pillowfort unsatisfactory, you can request a full refund of your purchase up to a month after your purchase is processed.
